Learning and Teaching Librarians work closely with courses and academic staff, aligning learning with course requirements. They also provide a student-led learning service, with access to academic information and digital literacy workshops and 1-2-1 tutorials offering support in areas such as research, literacy and learning practice.
They contribute to academic planning and design through engagement with curriculum developments, course validation and review. This includes providing guidelines for the compilation of course and unit reading lists and advice on policy and timescales as approved by the teaching and learning committee.
